Client: Animal Planet

Based off of existing complex animations, I programmed an After Effects template project that allowed a user with little experience to easily modify them.

The requirements were that it had to allow multiple combinations of "pages" and timings, but always start and end with the same in- and out-animation.

And within that, it also had to allow the user to easily choose from 3 different lengths in both the main bar (blue above) and sub-bar (white.) Animal Planet produces dozens of these lower-thirds a day, so the program also had to be not only be easy to use, but unable to be broken.

Expressions, in particular, involve javascript, logic/conditional statements, an understanding of the way After Effects handles it's graphics and layers, and an overall sense of management and organization.
